Reports have been obtained from the Dalton Police Department and are made available to the public.

THEFT FROM MAILS  Items from Amazon were reported missing from packages on a front porch at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 200 block of E Main St.

ASSAULT  A man reported a group of boys were coming to his home to beat up his son at 6:42 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 300 block of Buckeye Street.

ASSAULT  A female patient advised a male touched her inappropriately at 9:46 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 15000 block of E Old Lincoln Way and nursing staff was advised to contact police.

THEFT FROM MAILS  A woman reported an unknown person opened her mail box and stole a package at 3:54 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 100 block of S Mill Street.

MENACING  A man reported he is being harassed and threatend by another employee at 11:28 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 200 block of S Mill Street.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE OR ENDANGERING  A woman reported unknown persons damaged the north side section of her chain link fence at 1:03 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 400 block of W Main Street.

THEFT FROM BUILDING  A saw and hedge trimmers were reported stolen from a garage at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 100 block of Henry Street.

DISSEMINATION OF HARMFUL MATERIAL OF A MINOR  A juvenile friend took photos of another juvenile and allegedly showed them to someone else Oct. 28. An officer counseled the juveniles.

THEFT OF IDENTITY  A man advised he was contacted via phone at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 30 about a car rental in New York City. He advised he did not rent any vehicles and someone used his driver’s license number in an attempt to rent a car.
