Mixed week for Central Christian basketball

* Central Christian’s Lady Comets had a close 57-53 win Dec. 28 over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.

* At the Christmas Classic Dec. 27, varsity boys lost in the first game to Lake Center 56-51. The Lady Comets came back from a 14-point deficit in the first quarter, but not enough for the win.

* The Lady Comets played the Lady Smithies at home Dec. 23. Smithville won 49-27.
