Truckload of food donated to Baptist Church pantry

DALTON More than a truckload of food was recently delivered to the food pantry at Dalton Baptist Church, 400 Lincolnview Drive in Dalton, by Sara Martin from Dalton Middle School.
The students there donated all of the canned goods and assorted packages of food which will be given to those in need in the area, according to information provided.
The Wayne County Common Pleas Court also collected cans of food which Probation Officer Matthew Zaleski brought to be given out through the food pantry.
The food pantry is open every Monday (except holidays) 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Anyone in need is welcome to use the food pantry. There are financial guidelines for food received from the food bank. Examples would be a family of two with an annual income of $33,819 or lower or a family of six with an annual income of $69,179 or lower would be eligible.
