Wayne County Board of Elections seeks poll workers

The Wayne County Board of Elections is offering voters a “front row seat” to the election process.

Those who are 18 years old, U.S. citizens, and registered voters in Wayne County have an opportunity to make a difference in their communities while earning some extra money in the process, according to a news release.

The Wayne County Board of Elections is in search of poll workers for the March 17, 2020 Primary and Nov. 3, 2020 General Elections.

Each year thousands of Ohioans play an important role in our democracy by helping to operate polling places, the news release states. Ohio’s precinct election officials (PEOs) work hard to facilitate the voting process. As a PEO, you will received paid training and be paid for your time serving on Election Day. If interested, contact the Wayne County Board of Elections at 330-287-5480 or visit www.WayneCountyOH.gov.
