IMPERSONATING PEACE OFFICER A woman reported she received a call attempting to defraud her of money Dec. 3. The suspect called back and said he was a Dalton police officer.
NON-VIOLENT DOMESTICS Police responded at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 4 to the 100 block of S Mill Street to a domestic call between an adult son and his parents.
WARRANT ARREST A man was arrested on warrant through Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 4 in the 100 block of S Mill Street after Dalton Police responded to a dispute in the residence that led to checking his status.
ATTEMPTED LARCENY-THEFT Police responded to the 15000 block of Old Lincoln Way for a report of money missing from a resident’s room. Investigation is pending.
WARRANT ARREST Police located and arrested a village woman Dec. 11 in the 100 block of Lincoln View Drive for a warrant through Wooster Police Department and transferred her to WPD without incident.
DRUG ABUSE Police responded to a report of a nonresponsive man lying on the ground in front of the 100 block of Henry Street at 2:18 p.m. Dec. 12. Medical attention was provided by East Wayne Fire District and he was taken to a local hospital.
ARREST WARRANT A village man was arrested Dec. 13 at his residence on an active warrant issued out of the Stark County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court.
PATIENT ABUSE/NEGLECT Police responded to a complaint of alleged abuse of a patient Nov. 13 through Dec. 13 in the 15000 block of Old Lincoln Way. Investigation is pending.
WARRANT SERVED A village man was arrested 11:23 p.m. Dec. 18 in the first block of S Mill Street on warrant through the Ashland Police Department.
THEFT – PARTS FROM VEHICLE Officer was dispatched at 11:47 a.m. for a theft of a catalytic converter cut out of an exhaust system that occurred between 2 p.m. Dec. 20 and 11:40 a.m. Dec. 23 in the 100 block of Kurzen Road.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE OR ENDANGERING Police responded at 11:17 p.m. Dec. 28 to the 200 block of Buckeye Street for possible suicide threats.
