DALTON The annual All-Sports Booster Club cake auction will be Friday, Feb. 14 during the boys basketball team’s home game against Smithville.
New this year is proceeds from the winning bids will be split in half, according to information provided. Half will go back to the booster club and the other half will go to the bidding sport. This will give coaches more to spend this year. Bidding will take place during half time of both the JV and varsity games and also during intermission between games. Payment of cakes can be made by cash or check.
The Peter Kiko family will again be the auctioneers.
The boosters would like to thank the coaches, parents and athletes who take time to make, bake, decorate or donate cakes for this event.
This is one of several fundraisers during the year for the All-Sports Booster Club. Proceeds from fundraisers help support all sports from junior high to high school. This past year, the All-Sports Booster Club has helped with purchasing uniforms, weights and supplies.
