Lehman, Virgene Lizabeth

Virgene Lizabeth Lehman, 71, formerly of Kidron, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Scenic Pointe in Millersburg.

She was born in Wooster on August 4, 1948 to the late Chester S. and Elrena M. (Hofstetter) Lehman.  She was a member of the Kidron Mennonite Church.
Virgene was a woman of prayer who’s faith was the cornerstone of her life.  Whatever she had she shared.  She found great joy in choosing and giving gifts to loved ones.  Her immediate family and cousins were especially dear to her.  She took a special interest in their lives and loved talking about cherished memories.  An Optimist, an encourager, a friend: Virgene brightened the lives of many with her generous spirit.
She is survived by siblings, Karen (Joe) Garnett of Shirley, Arkansas, Curtis Lehman of Orrville, Darrel (Catherine) Lehman, Craig (Kelly) Lehman, and Lori (Angelo) Napolitan, all of Dalton, and Joyce (Ken) Weaver of Apple Creek; a step-sister, Arvilla Kaufman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Willis E. Nussbaum; and step-brothers, Elton and Arden Nussbaum.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Kidron Mennonite Church with Pastor Carl Wiebe officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.  Family graveside services will be held prior in the church cemetery.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff of Scenic Pointe for their kindness, love and care given to Virgene during her stay with them and to LifeCare Hospice for their support and care the last year.
