Cormell, Quentin “Took”

ORRVILLE — Quentin “Took” Cormell, age 84, of Orrville, died Friday, April 24, 2020, at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster, from complications associated with the Covid 19 virus.
Quentin was born on May 15, 1935, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Vonnie and Alma (Ireland) Cormell, attended Austintown Fitch High School, and received his GED while serving in the United States Navy.  He married Marlene Ann Harris on September 11, 1958, in North Jackson, Ohio.
He worked as a maintenance man for The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville for 25 years, retiring in 2001.
Quentin was a member of the Orrville Booster Club, the Masonic Lodge in Youngstown, and was a Shriner with the Tadmor Temple in Akron. He was previously a volunteer fireman in North Jackson and Mount Eaton and enjoyed Orrville and Ohio sports.
Quentin is survived by his wife, Marlene; their two sons, Robert (Kris) Cormell of Marshallville and Jeff (Julie) Cormell of Westerville; five grandchildren, Lauryn (Seth) Shields of Williston ND, Chesney, Kamerin and Kory Cormell of Marshallville, and Quinn and Bradley Cormell of Westerville; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Emma Shields; 4 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond L. Cormell; infant son, Quentin Raymond Cormell, II; granddaughter, Vivian Cormell; and 4 siblings.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.  Private burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
