The Village of Dalton is accepting applications for an ASSISTANT TO THE FISCAL OFFICER.
The purpose of this position is to transition to fiscal officer while training under the interim fiscal office. The successful applicant will be required to perform a variety of administrative and financial tasks while maintaining positive and effective communications with the mayor, council and the residents of the Village of Dalton. This individual will report directly to the Interim Fiscal Officer and eventually to the Mayor and Village Council upon the successful transition. Duties will include but are not limited to working with the public, maintaining a professional environment, depositing money in a timely fashion, preparing budgets and reports, paying bills, processing payroll and performing any duties outlined in the Ohio Auditor of State Village Officers Handbook. Salary will be based upon experience. We will be accepting applications until May 15, 2020.
