Dalton Kidron Big 4 4-H meets via Zoom

Dalton Kidron Big 4 4-H group called another online meeting to order May 11 and began with the Pledge Of allegiance and the 4-H pledge.
Treasurer’s report included a deposit of $118 for books and dues and donation of $500 for activity fee. The club paid $1,185 for the activity fee, and $270 for books. The current balance is $478.26.
The safety report included reminders to wash hands after working with animals, and new business was discussed. The Quality assurance dates have started, the dates and links are available through the April 29 Extension update email. If anyone misses their species session, they can attend another virtual session.
The club talked about how June 1 is the deadline to upload animal ID’s and information. A help session is available online.
The mask service project is going well. Ambolina’s and a store in Berlin are giving out the masks that people from the Big 4 4-H Club have made.
The Hofstetter girls have been decorating cakes and cookies for a fundraiser for Camp Luz. Members talked about checking the demonstrations on Flipgrid. So far, Sam Ediger, Connor and Isaac Mori and Madison Wade have done a great job uploading demonstrations.
The club also talked about Service projects and Group projects. Members did 10 sit ups and 10 push ups for recreation before adjourning the meeting.
The club meets next June 8 online using Zoom.
