Eli C. Miller, 88, of 8412 State Route 241, Fredericksburg, died Saturday morning, June 27, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Holmes County on February 29, 1932 to the late Christ JC and Ada Mae (Mast) Miller and married Barbara E. Wengerd on November 18, 1954 and she survives. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, LeRoy (Mattie) Miller of the home, Laura (Wayne) Beachy and Rosanna (Crist) Miller, both of Fredericksburg; 14 grandchildren, Monroe (Ruby) Miller, Marion (Ruby) Miller, Reuben (Amy) Beachy, Robert (Ruth) Beachy, Barbara Ann (David) Chupp, Marvin (Diane) Beachy, Milan (Sarabeth) Beachy, Lena (Alan) Miller, Maria (Merlin) Miller, Brenda (Gary) Miller, Jason Miller, LeRoy (special friend Neva) Miller, Caleb Miller and Elijah Miller; and 27 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ada Glick Miller; and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am at the family residence with Minister Dan A. Troyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Schlabach Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
