Dalton Kidron Big 4 4-H group had a drive thru meeting on Aug. 10 to drop off any posters, projects or books.

Following that we had a Zoom meeting, which members had the options of attending in the parking lot or from home. The Zoom meeting went like this: We called the meeting to order, our group did both pledges, and we took attendance. We had a full house. Club secretary, treasurer and health and safety officer all gave their reports.

Members were reminded to watch their emails and the OSU Wayne County app for all new information. Laurel Strasbaugh also was expected to send out emails with new deadlines.

New business was discussed. Fair passes and exhibitor numbers will be available from Laurel starting Sept. 2. Passes are for advisers and members that have animal projects exhibiting at the fair.

Also if Pork Producers is operating at the fair this year, we will call with a volunteer sign-up sheet. We usually work Saturday, from 2-6 p.m.

Our group had “Laurel Time” just to go over some information. We had recreation, and adjourned the meeting.
