Miller, Paul Herman
KIDRON – Paul Herman Miller, 81, 3775 Kidron Road, Dalton, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, September 23, 2020 at his residence after a 3 year battle with cancer.
He was born to the late Ben and Ida Miller on December 2, 1938. He was married to Martha J MIller on July 10, 1998. She survives.
He was the founder of Holmes Wheel Shop in Holmesville and MIller Custom Kitchens in Perry County, Ohio. He enjoyed building relationships as an Amish taxi driver, taking families on vacation and work crews to disaster areas. He was a member of Gospel Light Chapel near Trail, OH
In addition to his wife he, is survived by his 8 children, Elsie (Chris) Troyer of Lott, TX, Jerry (Mabel) Miller of Lott, TX, Eddie (Arlene) Miller of Somerset, OH, Marvin (Marie) Miller of Frankfort,OH, Norman (Elizabeth) Miller of Mt. Perry, OH, Edna Mae (Joshua) Miller of Frankfort, OH, James (Martha) Miller of Farmington, MO and Raymond Miller of McArthur, OH; 3 step-children, Michael (Leah) Yoder of MIllersburg, OH, Clara (Mike) Hershberger of Winesburg, OH and Esther (John) Hershberger of Beach City, OH; a sister. Melva (Freeman) Raber of Wooster; 39 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary in June of 1980; second wife, Edna, in November of 1995; a grandson; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10:00 am at Gospel Light Chapel, 2743 County Road 168 (Weaver Ridge), Dundee, OH 44624 with Bishop Eli Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 6-8, Sat. 2-4, 6-8 at Gospel Light Chapel. The Family wishes to express their heartfelt Thank You to Life Care Hospice of Wooster for their kindness and help these past few months.
