Library expands hours
DALTON The Dalton branch of the Wayne County Public Library will have new expanded hours beginning Monday, Sept. 28.
The Wayne County Public Library began this week to expand its opening hours, according to a news release. Beginning Sept. 21, Wooster Main Library is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition, Wooster’s drive-through window service will be available 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
New hours at Creston, Dalton, Doylestown, Rittman and Shreve Branches are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. West Salem Branch’s expanded hours will be Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays 2 to 7 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Doylestown, Rittman, Shreve and West Salem began new hours on Sept. 21. New hours at Creston and Dalton begin Sept. 28.
Curbside service is still available by appointment at all locations.
Patrons are invited to all WCPL libraries during open hours for short visits to pick out books, movies, music and more. The Library offers virtual story times, crafting, book discussions and other enjoyable programs for all, as well as a large selection of eBooks, eAudiobooks, and streaming movies and music.
