BULLDOGS GOLF: Golfers finish 2nd in WCAL

The Bulldogs golf team is gearing up for tournament action after completing its regular season this past week.
Dalton finished second in the Wayne County Athletic League with a league record of 18-3.
On Monday, Dalton golfers played against Waynedale at Riceland and lost 178 – 172.
Top scores were: Jaden Schlabach, 40, Brendan Lehman, 43, Trevor Horst, 47, and Todd Brahler and David Cross, each 48.
The team finished the week at the WCAL championship on Friday at Mohican Hills. Bulldogs finished third in the 18 hole tournament with a score of 369. Top scores were Jaden Schlabach, 84, Todd Brahler, 93, David Cross, 95, and Trevor Horst, 97.
“Everyone worked hard and showed much improvement from last year,” Coach Jeff Feller said. “The players are looking forward to the sectional tournament this Wednesday and are searching for at least a Top 3 spot to advance.”
