Mattie M. Yoder, 89, of 7806 Salt Creek Road, Fredericksburg died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the home of her daughter Betty (Joseph) Yoder.
She was born May 30, 1931 in Holmes County to the late Manelius and Lizzie (Raber) Yoder, and married Dan B. Yoder on November 14, 1957. He died November 4, 2006.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by children, Ella and Erma Yoder of Fredericksburg, Neal Yoder of the home, and Betty (Joseph) Yoder of Millersburg; granddaughters, Keturah, Priscilla, Lillian and Mildred Yoder; brothers, Christ (Lizzie Ann) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Mose M.E. (Esther) Yoder of Baltic; sisters, Barbara (John) Raber and Betty Yoder of Millersburg; sister-in-law, Fannie Yoder of Millersburg; brother-in-law, Raymond (Edna) Miller of Millersburg.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by siblings, Katie, Susan, Mary Yoder, Emma (Crist) Troyer, Fannie Miller, Noah Yoder, and infant brother Jonas.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Wayne County. Friends may call any time after 2:00 pm on Monday and any time on Tuesday. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
