Miller, Leon J.
MOUNT EATON – Leon J. Miller, 40, of 14393 Salt Creek Road, Apple Creek, died Thursday evening, October 22, 2020 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Holmes County on November 27, 1979 to Jonas J. and Sara Ann (Troyer) Miller and married Esther L. Miller on November 9, 2000 and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was employed by SwissValley Furniture.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Kari, Brian and Joey, all of the home; his mother of Fredericksburg; siblings, Elsie (Eugene) Schmucker of Sugarcreek, Rebecca (David) Troyer of Shreve, Ruby Schlabach of South Carolina, Wayne (Marilyn) Miller of Sugarcreek, Jerry (Mary Ellen) Miller of Fredericksburg, Dorothy (Reuben) Miller of Holmesville, Nelson (Edna) Miller of Fredericksburg and Irene Slabaugh of Sugarcreek; and his father-in-law, Levi J. Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother-in-law; and step-mother-in-law..
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Junior Byler officiating. Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne County. Friends may call anytime at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
