Keim, Mary J.
Mary J. Keim, 94, of 8993 Township Road 609, Fredericksburg, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at her daughter’s home.
She was born near Fredericksburg on December 19, 1925 to the late Jonas E. and Lizzie S. (Swartzentruber) Miller and married Alvin J. Keim on December 1, 1946. He died December 15, 2014.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by eight children, Marvin Keim of Danville, Allen (Sara) Keim of Smicksburg, PA, Esther (Mahlon) Yoder of Johnsonburg, PA, Ruth Yoder of Wright City, MO, Naomi (Roman) Raber of Gambier, Laura Keim of Tennessee, Marie (John) Miller of the home and Leander Keim of Loudonville; 36 grandchildren, 115 great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Nettie, Edna and Martha; brothers, Owen and Monroe.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Abe and John; an infant son; a daughter-in-law, Iva (Troyer) Keim; a son-in-law, Menno Yoder; two grandsons; a great grandson; brothers, Andrew and Jonas Jr.; and a sister, Ella.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Eli A. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Wayne County. Friends may call anytime at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
