Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 9:00 am at the family residence with bishop Robert Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Schlabach Cemetery, Paint Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 3:00 pm on Tuesday at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
Clara R. Yoder, 73, of 3380 County Road 200, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a brief illness.
She was born near Fredericksburg on December 18, 1946 to the late Roman and Anna (Miller) Mast and married Albert R. Yoder on September 1, 1966 and he survives.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to her husband Albert, she is survived by children, Wayne (Dora) Yoder, David (Laura) Yoder and Edna (Alvin) Yoder, all of Fredericksburg, Roman (Ruby) Yoder of the home, Linda (Ivan) Miller and Mary (Sam) Miller, both of Sugarcreek, Betty (Jonas) Miller of Fresno and Naomi (David) Yoder of Baltic; 26 grandchildren; brothers, Levi R. Mast of Dundee and Jacob (Anna) Mast of Millersburg; sisters, Elizabeth Yoder of Orrville and Elva (Lester) Hochstetler of Millersburg; twin-sister, Mary Chupp of Apple Creek; and sister-in-law, Sarah Mast of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mony Mast; brothers-in-law, David R. Yoder and Nelson Chupp; and sister-in-law, Mabel Mast.
