  • ORRVILLE — Charlie Boggs, age 66, of Orrville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a short illness.
    Charlie was born on March 31, 1954, in Orrville, to Charles and Alice (Bateman) Boggs and graduated from Orrville High School in 1972.  He married Marianne Edwards on March 21, 1981 in Dalton.  Marianne survives.
    He worked as a truck driver for Smith Dairy in Orrville and retired from Orrville Carrier Service in 2017.
    Charlie was a member of Faith Family Church in North Canton. He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible.  He will be remembered as a hardworking man of strong faith, integrity, with great love for his family.
    In addition to his wife, Marianne, he is survived by a son, Bjorn (Beth) Boggs of Orrville; daughter, Brianne (Adam) Drinkard of Lexington; four grandchildren, Logan and Kaitlyn Boggs and Gracen and Avia Drinkard; five siblings, Janet Sue (Larry) Snyder, Diane (Frank) Snyder, John (Debbie) Boggs, Ricky (Donna) Boggs, and Charlene (David) Bunner; three sisters-in-law, Kathy Boggs-Taylor, Carolyn (Mike) Marthey, and Bonnie Tengler; a brother-in-law, Jim Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kenneth Boggs.
    Friends may call on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Christian Harbor Church, 598 Wadsworth Road, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
    Services will follow at 1:30 pm on Monday, at Christian Harbor Church, with Pastors Ethan Boggs, John Boggs, and Adam Drinkard officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
