Sarah Witmer finished with five points, two rebounds and one assist. Charity Green had four points and one rebound. Kylee Johnson collected four rebounds, two points and one assist. Lauren Clos dished six assists and grabbed three rebounds.
Dalton’s head coach Katie Miller detailed what her team needs to work on for their upcoming games.
“We will need to be a better defensive team one-on-one and as a unit,” she said. “We will continue to work on areas of weakness as we continue through the season. Chippewa is going to be a tough opponent that we will have to defend the dribble drive much better.”
