NEW BUSINESS: #EDGE Beauty Bar opens in Dalton
DGKN staff report
DALTON A new business has a grand opening with an open house and walk-through noon to 4 p.m. today at 131 N Church St.
#EDGE Beauty Bar, a women/veteran-owned business, has moved in to the location that was formerly Accents Styling and Tanning Salon.
Eliza Dalessandro, a state licensed esthetician specializing in skin, full body waxing and relaxing massage, and her husband, Jake, purchased the property and renovated it.
“I am a licensed esthetician and my dreams came true when we had the opportunity to purchase a part of this wonderful town’s business buildings,” according to Dalessandro.
#EDGE offers facial services, full body waxing and relaxing full body massage. Nicole Bernardi is the eyelash technician beginning in January. A new team member will offer hair services.
Dalessandro worked in healthcare for the majority of her working career outside of her time serving in the military.
“When we had our second child, I took on the role of stay-at-home mother,” Dalessandro continued. “When I decided to go back to school, I knew I still needed to be able to care for people but be able to be my own boss. My husband Jake and I are partners in real estate but this business is my dream. I’m so happy to not only have my dreams become reality but also in a community I love.”
#EDGE Beauty Bar’s open house includes deals, samples and a raffle, as well as Brunswick/Wadsworth Nutrition samples. Find #EDGE on Facebook at “Hashtag_edgebeautybar.”
