The Orrville Salvation Army hosts Red Kettle ‘Give Where You Live’ campaign

ORRVILLE  Do you hear the bells? Did you know you can join The Orrville Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign from the comfort of your home? With “Adopt-a-Spot” you can.

Donating $35 or more to the Orrville Salvation Army’s virtual Red Kettle, sponsors one hour or more of bell ringing at any of the Salvation Army’s locations. Locations include Orrville Buehler’s, P. Graham Dunn, Kidron Town & Country, Lehman’s Hardware, Dutch Kitchen Restaurant and Marshallville Packing. Call the Salvation Army for details if you wish to adopt a full day of bell ringing.

The Orrville Salvation Army is hosting the Red Kettle “Give Where You Live” campaign as an alternative to the safety concerns many may have during the current COVID-19 environment.

It’s simple. Visit the Facebook page or website neo.salvationarmy. org/northeastohio/Orrville and donate to the virtual Red Kettle. Please select the location: Orrville-Maiwurm Service Center. Grab your friends, co-workers, or family members and support the Orrville Salvation Army by adopting-a-spot this week. Donations mailed to the office at 401 W High St., Orrville, can also be applied to the Red Kettle “Give Where You Live” Campaign, please designate “RED KETTLE.” Any questions can be directed to the Orrville Salvation Army at 330-683-3138.

Donations stay local in the greater Orrville area and aids those in need of food, utility disconnection assistance, medical transportation, clothing and various other financial needs.
