Hoffman, Ethel K.

ORRVILLE — Ethel K. Hoffman, age 71, of Orrville, died Monday, December 21, 2020, at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, following a week and a half battle with COVID.
Ethel  was born on January 30, 1949, in Cleveland, to the late Kenneth and Della (Hartzler) Burkholder, graduated from Smithville High School in 1967, and worked as a Dispatcher for Rittman Police Department for over 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela (Vince) Erwin of Smithville and Andrea Wenger of Orrville; her companion, Terry Heilman of Orrville; six grandchildren, Brooke (Jordan) Thomas of Kent, Madison (Ethan) Moffatt of Cincinnati, Chandler Smith of Willoughby, McKinley (Tyler Elkins) Smith of Ashland, Sydney (Jack Perry) Wenger of Bedford, VA, and Gillian (Shane) Rufener of Orrville; a great grandson, Sterling Rufener; and a sister, Eileen Adams of Las Vegas, NV.
Services will be live streamed at 10:00 am on Monday, December 28, 2020, with Pastor Don E. Bolich officiating. Burial will take place at the Oak Grove Mennonite Cemetery in Smithville.
