They owned Rupp Construction Sand and Gravel and D and R Asphalt Supply, which they sold in 1983, opened the Orrville Dairy Queen Brazier in 1984, which is now owned by Jim III and Chris. They still enjoy serving the Orrville, Dalton and Marshallville area, Donna Dale through the Orrville Area United Way, Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club, Junior Achievement, Orrville Reads, Orr-Views Content Committee and Tuesday Book Club, Jim also served for many years on the Orrville City Schools Board of Education and Wayne County Schools Career Center, and now is a member of Exchange Club, The Masonic Lodge and Shriners, plus golfing and playing poker with his buddies. They were always taught to pass on their blessings, and are pleased that their children are doing the same. They feel very blessed to live near most of their family and friends, and can share time and activities with them in our wonderful and caring community and our great United States of America.
