Orrville — Ray E. Lehman, age 77, of Orrville, died Friday, January 8, 2021, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a five week period of declining health.
Ray was born on August 9, 1943, in Chester Township, to the late Benjamin and Anna (Imhoff) Lehman, attended Northwestern High School, and married Pat Moser on July 24, 1966, at the CMA Church in Orrville. Pat survives.
He worked as a mechanic for several local auto shops and dealerships for 55 years, retiring in 2019.
Ray was a member of New Life Family Fellowship in Wadsworth. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening, as well as lawn service and home repair for his family.
In addition to his wife, Pat, he is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ned) Russell of Orrville and Marsha Lehman of Wooster; six grandchildren, Kylie (Harold) McCumbers, Zachary Westfall, Miranda Miller, Kendra Russell, Bentley Russell and Nicole Russell; two great grandchildren, Emerson and Kaden McCumbers; two sisters, Esther Shallenbarger of IN and Arlene Miller of Shreve; a brother, Paul (Elaine) Lehman of Wooster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Naomi Stoudt; and brother, Glen Lehman.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Visitors are asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and adhere to posted signs and spacing limitations. Seating may be limited.
Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster, with Pastor Mike Witte officiating.
