Yoder, Edward J.

MT. EATON – Edward J. Yoder, 54 of 17266 Harrison Road, Navarre, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

He was born in Wayne County on February 22, 1966 to the late Jacob A. and Fannie J. (Gingerich) Yoder and married Susan R. Burkholder on November 26, 1987 and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Dwayne (Leanna) Yoder and Marilyn (Henry) Erb, both of Dundee, Rosie (Abraham) Troyer of the home and Arlen (special friend Marnita Troyer) Yoder of the home; 8 grandchildren; in-laws, Roy J. and Mary Burkholder of Millersburg; siblings, Alfred (Iva) Yoder of Millersburg, Ivan (Esther) Yoder of Millersburg, David (Peggy) Yoder of Wooster, Roy Yoder of Shreve, Ervin (Erma) Yoder of Mt. Eaton, Jacob Jr. (Elsie) Yoder of Mt. Eaton, Clara (Milan) Weaver of Mt. Eaton, Esther (Wayne) Miller of Fredericksburg and Wayne (Mary Ann) Yoder of Fredericksburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Atlee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM at the family residence with Bishop Aden M. Yoder officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hershberger Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne County.  Friends may call anytime after 4:00 PM on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday at the family home.   Spidell Funeral Home in Mt. Eaton is handling the arrangements.
