Lehman’s under new ownership, Miller family vows to keep traditions alive
KIDRON The biggest question Glenda Lehman Ervin said she has heard since last week’s announcement about HRM Enterprises Inc. purchasing Lehman’s in Kidron is: “What will change?”
“And the answer is ‘not much,” said Lehman Ervin, the vice president of marketing for the iconic business on the square in Kidron.
The Miller Family, owners of HRM Enterprises, recently reached an agreement to purchase Lehman’s from Galen Lehman and they look forward to working with Lehman and the entire Lehman’s team to keep the great, family owned, culture and commitment to benefit customers, team members, and the surrounding community, according to a news release.
“HRM purchased Lehman’s because they admired the brand and customer loyalty of Lehman’s and have no plans to change the name, product line or mission – to help people on their journey to a simpler life,” Lehman Ervin wrote in an email to the Gazette & News. “Customers likely won’t even notice the new ownership. It’s also important to note that HRM is hiring 100 percent of the Lehman’s staff and Galen (Lehman) and I will continue to lead the company.”
