Sell out gym, but virtually

DGKN staff report

DALTON  The Dalton All Sports Booster Club is hoping to sell out the capacity of the Dalton High School gymnasium by Feb. 12.

This doesn’t mean 1,015 fans will get to crowd in all at once and cheer for their favorite Bulldog players.

While health and safety policies remain while the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the fundraiser is a creative way for fans to support the boys and girls basketball teams, Dalton Athletic Department and the All Sports Booster Club.

This is a virtual event only, but fans are still often able to watch games online through “Dalton Live,” Dalton Local’s YouTube channel, or the hosting school’s YouTube channel and other websites.

Keep an eye on Dalton Local Schools’ website at and the district’s social media accounts for online viewing options.

Tickets are $25 per virtual seat. As a thank you, for each virtual seat purchase the ticket buyer will receive a Dalton Bulldogs Basketball T-shirt printed by The Team Shop inside The Dalton Gazette & Kidron News office.

Shirts can be picked up Feb. 18-28 at the Dalton Gazette & Kidron News office, 28 W Main St., Dalton, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A form is available on page 2 of this edition of the Gazette & News and forms are available at the newspaper office.

Make checks out to the “Dalton All Sports Booster Club.”
