Simmavanh, Pany Singkama

Orrville — Pany Singkama Simmavanh, age 80, of Orrville, died Friday, February 5, 2021, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a period of declining health.
Pany was born on July 3, 1940, in Laos, to the late Khamdy and Mee (Meunady) Sinkhama.  She married Khamfauh Simmavanh in Laos. Khamfauh died in July of 1993.
She worked for Gerber Poultry in Dalton for 17 years, retiring in 2007.
Pany attended Orrville Mennonite Church and enjoyed taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Vi (Ray) Khanthachack of Orrville; son, Virasak (Chansamone Sisamouthpor) Simmavanh of Laos; five grandsons, Domanick, Braxton, Bryson and Bronson Khanthachack, and Notro Simmavanh.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Chanh Simmavanh; and a daughter, Bouasavanh Simmavanh.
Friends may call on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
A Lao Ceremony will follow at 12:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home, followed by cremation.  Visitors are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
