Garrett Gatti, 71, of Wilmot, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
He was born in Youngstown on November 11, 1949 to the late Joseph and Leona (Faust) Gatti and married Twila Troyer on August 29, 1987 and she survives.
He was a Vietnam veteran with the US Army and was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church. He was a truck driver most of his life.
In addition to his wife, Twila, he is survived by sons, Brandon of Wilmot and Joey (Vanessa) of Glenburnie, MD; siblings, Claudia Bowden of San Jose, CA, Katherine “Joan” (Frank) Baback of Wooster, Donald “Chuck” (Jeanne) Gatti of Mount Eaton and Jack (Judy) Gatti of Myrtle Beach, SC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Debbie and Joyce Ann; and brothers, Johnny and Robert.
Friends may call on Friday, February 12, 2021from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at Lakeview Baptist Church, 10202 SR 93, Dundee where masks are mandatory and social distancing will occur. Private family services will be held with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmot. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
