Yoder, Adam
Adam Yoder, 34, of Quito Ecuador, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
He was born on September 7, 1986 in Wooster, Ohio, to Roger and Kim Yoder of Kidron, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Estefany Silva, on April 13, 2018 and made his life in Ecuador.
Adam lived a beautiful life and loved all those he was around. He graduated from Waynedale High School and attended Akron University earning a middle school teaching degree, while being on the Deans list throughout his time in college. He was an assistant principal and teacher at Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador. He loved his students and shared his love of Jesus with them and those around him. He was an exceptional son, brother, uncle, friend, husband and father and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Family, friends and Jesus were what his life was all about.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dana Santamaria, of Quito Ecuador, brother Aaron (Erin) Yoder of Dalton, sister Johana Yoder of Kidron, niece Carlee Yoder of Dalton, grandfather Allen Kouth of Knoxville, TN, grandmother, Dixie Goettge, his family in Quito, Ecuador, and a lot of extended family who loved Adam dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gloria Kouth, John Goettge, and Andy and Fannie Yoder.
A closed memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, for his family to celebrate his life well lived. The memorial service will be live-streamed with service beginning at 11:00 a.m. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER2yB6XyPMU) for those who were so special to Adam and his family. Family wishes to thank everyone who supported Adam during his life.
