Oberlin, Glenn R.
DALTON – Glenn R. Oberlin, age 76, passed away on February 14, 2021.
Born on March 18, 1944 in Canton, OH to the late Ray and Carol (Tate) Oberlin, Glenn was a resident of Dalton for 40 years. A veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U. S. Navy Seabees, he retired from Hilscher-Clarke Electric Co. after 37 years and was a member of Local #540 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Glenn loved to spend time with his family while vacationing at the beach. He also enjoyed collecting knives and watches, photography, and all his techy electronics.
Preceded in death by his brother, Tom; sister, Nancy Lewis, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Roberta; sons, Dan (Jenna) Oberlin of Marshallville, Scott Oberlin of Stanwood; grandchildren, Emma and Luke; sister-in-law, Connie Oberlin of Massillon; his lap dog, Louie; other family and friends.
