Mullet, Bertha E.

Bertha E. Mullet, 88, of Apple Creek, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home following a period of declining health due to congestive heart failure.

She was born in Millersburg on November 25, 1932 to the late Eli J.P. and Ada (Yoder) Miller and married Wayne D. Mullet on March 20, 1952 and he survives.
She was a faithful member of the Fairlawn Mennonite Church in Apple Creek for 67 years.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she is survived by seven children, Ada Mae (late Ben) Yoder of Apple Creek, Ruby (John) Hostetler of Wooster, Mary (David) Barkman, Carol (Elden) Miller, David (Sara) Mullet, Dean (Fonda) Mullet and Verda (Duane) Detweiler, all of Apple Creek; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; two foster great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Mary) Miller and Abe (Esther) Miller; and a sister-in-law, Lizzie Ann Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ben R. Yoder; a brother, Levi E. Miller; and a great granddaughter, Savannah Grace Landis.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2-5:00 PM at the Fairlawn Mennonite Church, 8520 Emerson Road, Apple Creek where masks are required and social distancing will occur.  Private family services will be live streamed on Sunday at 4:00 pm and may be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U-apzDoo50.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
