Raber, Levi E.
Levi E. Raber, age 65, of Mount Eaton, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home.
He was born on September 3, 1955 to the late Eli J. and Nettie (Swartentruber) Raber and married Mattie Nisley Raber on November 11, 1976 and she survives.
He was a man of great faith, who loved God, his church and strove daily to glorify God in all that he did. He was a devoted father, grandfather and loving husband. He was a masterful hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family. He was hardworking and would do anything to help others. He will be greatly missed by all who were impacted by his life.
He was a logger and truck driver, most recently for Berner Trucking where he retired from in January. He was currently driving Amish.
In addition to loving wife, Mattie, he is survived by children, Leroy (Jill Gerber) Raber, Jason Raber, Jeremiah Raber and Ruby (Ben) Vos; grandchildren, Sara, Charlee and Matthew; siblings, Paul (Anna Mae) Raber, Dan (Mary) Raber, Sarah (David) Schlabach and Lydiann (Aden) Schlabach; and a sister-in-law, Edna Raber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Raber.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton where masks are required. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am at West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster.
