No-appointment-necessary COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Doylestown
The Wayne County Health Department will offer vaccines without requiring an appointment 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 23 at Crossroads Community Church, 700 Gates St., Doylestown.
The WCHD will have 500 vaccines on hand to vaccinate those without appointments, according to a news release. WCHS has accepted some appointments for this clinic and those will be honored. Those without an appointment are asked to bring a form of identification. Anyone 18 or older may be vaccinated.
This is the first no-appointment-necessary COVID-19 vaccine clinic offered by the Wayne County Health Department.
“We are excited to be moving clinics to other parts of the county,” Wayne County Health Commissioner Nicholas Cascarelli said in the release. “We want to be responsive and are hoping to overcome barriers to people getting vaccinated.”
