Hostetler, Joseph L.

Joseph L. Hostetler, 67, of Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg, OH died Thursday, May 13, 2021.

He was born in Enon Valley, PA on April 14, 1954 to Eli J. and Lydiann (Hershberger) Hostetler and married Lydia Yoder on December 22, 1981.  She died on May 3, 2021.
He was a member of the Salt Creek Amish Church.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters, Dannie (Sarah Ann) Hostetler, Mervin (Amanda) Hostetler, Joni Hostetler and Erma Hostetler, all of Townville, PA and Linda Hostetler of Florida; grandchildren, Timothy, Westin, Jayden, Tristen and Sadie Grace Hostetler; his mother, Lydiann (Hershberger) Hostetler of Turbotville, PA; three brothers and four sisters, Aaron (late Edna) Hostetler of Turbotsville, PA, Hosea (Ada) Hostetler and Daniel (Rebecca) Hostetler, both of Jamestown, PA, Ada (Sam) Byler of Turbotville, PA, Marian (Toby) Byler of Watsontown, PA, Sara Hostetler and Veronica Hostetler, both of Maysville, OH.
In addition to his wife Lydia, he was preceded in death by his father, Eli; his grandparents, seven uncles and 6 aunts.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 9:00 am at the former Maysville Fabric, 10476 Harison Road, Apple Creek (Maysville), with Bishop Enos C. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery.  Friends may call anytime after 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the former Maysville Fabric.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling local arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sycamore Run for all of the care they gave Joe.
