East Wayne Fire District was dispatched late Wednesday morning to a possible barn fire along Bair Road. Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved machine storage shed on fire, according to a post on East Wayne Fire District’s Facebook page. A second alarm was called due to close exposure of other barns and fuel tanks.

The post stated EWFD would like to thank Apple Creek, East Union Township Fire Department, Kidron Volunteer Fire Department, Orrville Firefighters Association, North Lawrence Fire Department, Wooster Township Fire and Rescue and Paint Township Mt. Eaton Fire Department for their assistance.

It appears the fire may have started with a tractor, but the fire is still under further investigation as to why the tractor may have started on fire, according to the post.
