Sales, specials put spotlight on Kidron

KIDRON Kidron Days are back!
Residents and visitors in the scenic community of Kidron are in for a treat this weekend with activities, specials at local businesses, and community garage sales Friday and Saturday.
More than 30 businesses are participating in the annual Kidron Days with special sales and gift certificate giveaways. About 20 garage or yard sales are being set up by residents making this the perfect time to browse for treasures and find great deals.
Lehman’s, 4779 Kidron Road, will have a sidewalk sale and customers can sign up to win one of two gift baskets, valued at more than $100 each. Visitors also can enjoy free axe throwing 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Learn from the “axe”perts with Bad Axe Throwing and then play a game with friends.
See if you can get a bullseye when you throw the axe in the caged-in trailer in Lehman’s west side parking lot. This is a free event.
Stop by Killbuck Savings Bank, 13253 Emerson Road, and register to win a picnic cooler and blanket.
Kidron Town and Country, 4959 Kidron Road, will have a number of fun vendors out front: Pink Goat Coffee, Lerch’s donuts, Kettlecorn, Flips BBQ Chicken and the ever-popular produce tent.
MCC Connections, 4080 Kidron Road, is having a great sale on clothing items – all peach tagged clothing is 25 cents and all blue tagged clothing will be half price.
Pine Cone Gift Shop, 2877 Kidron Road, is offering 10 percent off everything in the store both days. They have new glow-in-the-dark fairy garden items, and lots of new garden stakes and décor.
World Crafts, 13110 Emerson Road, has made handcrafted unique and beautiful home decor and gift items from around the globe available in one convenient location for more than 30 years. At the same time, purchasing the quality items provides income, opportunity and dignity to artisans in 30 countries. During Kidron Days, a sidewalk sale will be both Friday and Saturday and customers can take 20 percent off the sale price.
On Friday, Kidron Pizza will have two lunch specials, a fish sandwich, fries and a drink for $5.99 or a sub sandwich, a bag of chips and a drink for $5.99.
Maps for the garage/yard sales will be available at the sales as well as some participating Kidron businesses.

Hello! The events are going on throughout the two days and at the 30 or so businesses according to the business’ hours that they are open. Except for some special events such as axe throwing at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Lehman’s. 🙂 Thanks for asking!
