Van Fossen, Lora Lee

Orrville — Lora Lee Van Fossen , age 76, of Orrville, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Accord Care Community in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Lora was born on April 1, 1945, in Burton City, Ohio, to the late Virgil and Iota (McCune) Bellman and graduated from Orrville High School in 1963.  She married Paul Van Fossen on March 27, 1987, in Orrville. Paul survives.

She worked as a Cook for J.M. Smuckers, retiring in 1996.

She enjoyed spending time with her kids,grandkids, and great-grandkids. Her family was the most important thing to her in life.

Surviving are two daughters, Lora “Lynn” (Brad Teague) Barnett of Orrville, and Wanda “Jeannie” (Emmett Voshel) Barnett of Wooster; son, Roy (Jen Carpenter) Barnett of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Corey (girlfriend Tabitha), Logan, Cody (girlfriend Hannah), Tyson, Hunter, Bryce, and Lilly; great grandchildren, Layne, Lexton, Levaeh, Dezarae, McKenzie, Kaiden, Kacee, and Layla; two brothers, John Bellman of Orrville, and Larry (Phyllis) Bellman of FL; two sisters, Phyllis Carter of Orrville, and Cheryl Plough of Orrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by, grandchildren, Chad P. Barnett, and Tarisa Sheena-Marie Barnett (A.K.A. Pfost); great-grandchild, Lauren Pfost; brothers, Charles “Sonny” Bellman and Carl E. Bellman; sisters, Mary Lindsey, and Myrna J. Van Fossen.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
