Edna E. Troyer, 80, of 1011 S. Carr Road, Orrville, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at her home following a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia
She was born in Wayne County on July 24, 1940 to the late Eli D. and Mary E. (Yoder) Yoder and married Dan E. Troyer on March 31, 1960. He died April 17, 2018.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by sons, Ivan (Katie) of Alliance, Eli (Edna) of Apple Creek, Paul (Laura) of Orrville, Jr. (Anna) of the home, Marvin (Mary Ann) of Millersburg, Ervin (Fannie) of Apple Creek and Aaron of the home; daughters, Esther (Lester) Miller of Apple Creek and Kathy (Nelson) Mast of Millersburg; 55 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Atlee (Susie) Yoder of Apple Creek, Ervin (Lydia) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Leroy (Anna Mae) Yoder of Walhonding and Harry (Ruth) Yoder of Fredericksburg; sisters, Esther (late John) Troyer of Fredericksburg, Sovilla (Ben) Miller of Fredericksburg, Verna (Eli) Keim of Fredericksburg and Katie (Levi Jr.) Schlabach of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Leroy; a daughter, Mary Ann; grandsons, Myron Miller, Marvin Troyer and Roy Mast; and in-laws, Eli and Emma (Miller) Troyer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:30 am at the family residence with Bishop Ivan Schlabach officiating. Burial will be in the Erb Cemetery in East Union Township. Friends may call anytime at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
