King, Connie M.
Jacobsburg — Connie M. King, age 75, of Jacobsburg, formerly of Sterling, died Friday, July 23, 2021, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV, following a period of declining health.
Connie was born on December 30, 1945, in Wooster, to the late William and Naomi (Shenberger) Trumphour, graduated from Orrville High School in 1964, and attended the University of Akron. She married Charles Lee “Bill” King, Jr. on February 24, 1962, in Wooster. Charles died on November 23, 2018.
She worked as a Production Scheduler for Volvo GM of Orrville and retired from Mayflower in Shadyside.
Connie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church ELCA. She was active in many organizations and was an avid knitter and spinner.
She is survived by a son, Monte C. King of Jacobsburg; three daughters, Jody (Doug) Fahrni of Apple Creek, Stephanie Moeller of Jacobsburg, and Alisa King of Wooster; five grandchildren, Natasha (Miles) LeGros, Cassandra (Cory) Freeman, Samantha (Alex Woody) Fahrni, Alexandria Moeller, and Cori King; four great grandchildren, Marlee and Blake Freeman, Dawsyn LeGros, and Lucy Fahrni; a sister, Pat (Ron) Randall; and a brother, Cecil (Barb) Trumphour.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by two grandsons; and a great granddaughter.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Auble Funeral Home with Pastor Ann Paynter officiating. Burial will take place at the Apple Creek Cemetery.
