Wayne County Health Dep’t has 3rd dose available for immunocompromised

WOOSTER  The Ohio Department of Health along with the CDC has determined that a third vaccine for COVID-19 is recommended for the immunocompromised population. This third dose can be either Pfizer or Moderna. It has been identified that a third dose is needed for complete immunity. At this time there are no recommendations for receiving a second dose of Johnson & Johnson.

Wayne County Health Department will be offering third dose vaccinations for immunocompromised individuals on Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Red Cross building, 244 West South Street, Wooster.

The third doses are free to the individuals that have been identified as immunocompromised. These vaccines are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are available as long as supplies last. You must show proof of previous COVID-19 vaccination (vaccination card).
