Rehm, June A.

Orrville — June A. Rehm, age 100, of Orrville, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a short period of declining health.
June was born on June 7, 1921, in Strasburg, Ohio, to the late John and Edna (Hertzig) Pfaeffli, graduated from Strasburg High School in 1939 and married Carl E.Rehm on August 31, 1952, in Strasburg. Carl died on July 6, 1996.
She worked in her younger years for Garver Brother’s Store in Strasburg before making her home for her family.
June was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Marshallville and the Order of the Eastern Star, Shreve Chapter.  She was also a former member of Wayne County Farm Bureau and the Wayne County Dairy Promoters.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading love stories, playing her organ at home, treating people to dinner, and hosting friends and events at her home.
Surviving are two sons, Carl E. (Judy) Rehm Jr. and Louis J. (Debbie) Rehm, both of Orrville; six grandchildren, Roxanna (Tim) Moser of Wooster, Matt (Darcy) Rehm of Conesville, Joshua (Danielle) Rehm, Amy (Mike) Rehm-Rabung, Emily (Justin) Rehm-Lawrence, and Andrew Rehm, all of Orrville; three great grandchildren, Julia and Jace Rehm, and Caden Rabung; and a nephew, John (Marge) Beaber of Columbus.
In addition to her husband, Carl, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalie  Rehm; son, Daniel Rehm; and siblings, Grace Beaber-Shurtz, Florence Affolter, Irene Bixler, and John Pfaeffli.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 7404 Coal Bank Road, Marshallville, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with an Eastern Star service beginning at 7:00 pm. Calling will also be available from 10:00 to 10:45 on Wednesday, prior to the service.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 8, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Butchko officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
