On Sept. 8, the Bulldogs faced West Holmes at the Pines. Dalton won 159-168. Top scores were Jaden Schlabach 38, Brendan Lehman 40, Preston Wenger 40, Trevor Horst 41.
The next day, Dalton had a quad match against Smithville, Chippewa, and Hillsdale. The Bulldogs won the match with a team score of 147. This is the lowest team score for the golf team since 2006, according to Head Coach Jeff Feller.
Top scores were Trevor Horst 32, Brendan Lehman 35, Jaden Schlabach 39, Preston Wenger and Todd Brahler 41. Feller said they believe that Trevor Horst’s 32 also tied the school record for lowest individual round.
