Cormell, Marlene A.
ORRVILLE — Marlene A. Cormell, age 85, of Orrville, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Marlene was born on February 21, 1936, in Youngstown, to the late John and Ruby (Miller) Harris and married Quentin Cormell on September 11, 1958, in Youngstown. Quentin died on April 24, 2020.
She graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 1954 and worked in environmental services for the J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville for 31 years, retiring in 2000.
Marlene was an Orrville Booster Club supporter and an avid Orrville sports, Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Kris) Cormell of Marshallville and Jeff (Julie) Cormell of Westerville; six grandchildren, Lauryn (Seth) Shields of Wooster, Chesney, Kamerin and Kory Cormell of Marshallville, and Quinn and Bradley Cormell of Westerville; and three great grandchildren, Sophia, Emma and Lincoln Shields.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond L. Cormell, infant son, Quentin Raymond Cormell II, an infant granddaughter, Vivian Cormell; and sister Ruth Gatrell.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, with Pastor Jack Westfall officiating.
