DGKN staff report
DALTON Dalton Police Capt. Eric McFarren is mixing it up a bit. His new project to reach out to the community is taking off. He will be having a Coffee Break this Saturday at Ambolina’s. Customers can come in between 9-10 a.m. Saturday not only for a free donut and coffee and chat with McFarren but they’ll also receive a free carnation. McFarren returns to the Pioneer Coffeehouse 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
If anyone would like to make a donation toward the Dalton Police Department’s “coffee break with the community,” they are welcome to leave a donation via a gift card at Pioneer Coffeehouse or Dutch Kitchen and money on the gift card will go toward coffee and donuts for the community during one of McFarren’s stops.
