Finkenbinder, Tim R.

ORRVILLE — Tim R. Finkenbinder, age 69, of Orrville, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, following a short illness.
Tim was born on April 19, 1952, in Orma, West Virginia, to the late Teresa (Wears) Norman, graduated from Calhoun County (WV) High School in 1971.  On February 14, 2018, in Wooster, he married his partner of 40 years, Sherri  Keplar, and she survives him.
He worked for Crown Fiberglass in Orrville and eventually retired from Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad on June 28, 2019 after 18 years of service.
Tim was a member of Hopedale Sportsman’s Club in Ohio and the Bear Fork Hunting Club in West Virginia. He enjoyed hunting, driving his 2002 Corvette and sporting events of all kinds.  He will be remembered as an outdoorsman who loved spending time with his wife and family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Sherri Keplar; son, Cody Finkenbinder of Orrville; daughter, Angela Hall of Wooster; three grandchildren, Sydni Hall of Wooster, Xander Finkenbinder of Marshallville, and Remington Finkenbinder of Orrville; half-sisters, Diane, Peggy, Cheryl, Tammy, and Ruth Ann; and a half-brother, Roger.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by step-father, Orvile Norman; siblings, Billy, Bobby, Dave and Linda; and a half-brother, Larry.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon.
Services will follow at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Dennis Rinehart officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
