Health department administers COVID-19 vaccines and booster doses

WOOSTER  The Wayne County Health Department will be administering initial, second, and third dose booster COVID-19 vaccines to those eligible for Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson on Thursdays, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 2021 and Nov. 18, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Wooster American Red Cross, 244 W South St., Wooster.

All vaccines including booster doses will be available as appointment only with self-scheduling located on the website at www.wayne-health.org. Anyone between 65 and older and 18-64 with specific medical conditions or who work or live in high risk settings are eligible. You must have had two doses of Pfizer or Moderna with the second dose being at least 6 months ago. Johnson & Johnson vaccine must have been received at least 2 months ago.
