Hershberger, Nancy Kay
Nancy Kay Hershberger, 64, of Apple Creek, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital from covid pneumonia.
She was born in Millersburg on October 19, 1957 to the late Dan A. and Katie A. (Weaver) Hershberger.
Nancy served two years of voluntary service in Eldorado, AR and was a member of the East Union Mennonite Church. She provided transportation for the Amish community.
She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and teaching Sunday school for young children.
She is survived by a brother, Daniel Richard (Miriam) Hershberger; a sister, Crystal (Steve) Miller; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Hershberger, Kathleen (Wendell) Kennell, Melissa (Doug) Yoder, Justin (Heuang) Hershberger, Abigail Hershberger, Anthony Miller, Brittany (Kendal) Borntrager, Julie, Trish and Michelle Miller; great nieces and nephews, Keegan and Jaden Yoder, Annie, Ellie and Sophia Hershberger, Alex, Bennett and Camden Kennell.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 E. Old Lincoln Way, Orrville, with Pastor Lynn Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the church. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Fund of the East Union Mennonite Church.
